- For our client - a growing leader in the Belgian pharmaceutical landscape, located in the Brussels region - we are looking for a Medical Science Liaison Oncology.

**Vacancy information**:

- You act as the primary contact person for external stakeholders: national and international Key Opinion Leaders, Rising scientific and clinical experts and health care providers.
- You proactively identify and develop strong sustainable peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders to support the medical & scientific credibility of the company.
- Scientific and medical product specialist, including safety expert for the product portfolio.
- You are responsible for the medical communication towards the medical community within desirable timelines and with high technical quality (answer medical enquiries from HCP’s, provide accurate and non-promotional scientific information relating to licensed and unlicensed indications following unsolicited requests from HCP’s.
- Support of ongoing and future company sponsored trials (liaison between clinical operations and study sites, identification of appropriate trial centers.
- You are the reference point of scientific and clinical expertise for the sales force and other internal stakeholders through training and ad hoc support.
- Respond to requests to investigator-initiated sponsored research in line with company procedure.
- Develop and support of national disease registries and medical congresses as appropriate.
- Capture and share in-field insights including current treatment paradigm and anticipated key future changes to support medical and scientific strategy and business development.
- Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities (e.g. Advisory boards, medical education and peer-to-peer training activities, )
- Participate in relevant national and international congresses, symposia and other meetings.
- Participate in the identification of new developments, either general or product related, within the pharmaceutical industry.

**Requirements information**:

- PhD in a relevant scientific field or a pharmacist.
- A first experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in a matrix management environment.
- MSL or equivalent medical experience is a plus.
- Experience in the therapy area is a plus.
- Experience of working with scientific and clinical experts is a plus.
- Ability to work at a high scientific and clinical technical level to ensure quality peer-to-peer engagement with stakeholders.
- Clear and concise presentation of clinical data, including discussion of statistical and clinical relevance in line with the key messages.
- Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch, French and English.
