Review results and profitability analysis relating to area of responsibility.
- Analyze and investigate trends and reports to GeoMarket Operations Controller.
- Review revenue recognized through the period and reconcile against sales orders.
- Review deferred revenue not recognized due to lack of recognition criteria, and follow up.
- Understand revenue determination and accounting.
- Finalize overall period-end results, investigate variances, negative trends or exposures, and report to GeoMarket
- Review Product Cost Product Revenue (PCPR) margin and variance explanations, and report final results and analysis to GeoMarket.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accruals and provisions for the period.
- Execute internal controls in accordance with set control framework.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and oversee clearing of open items by outsourced organizations, and certify completeness of balance sheet notes.
- Support the GeoUnit Tax organization with tax audit inquiries requiring business input.
- Perform and submit quarterly VAT Reconciliation on a timely basis.
- Complete responsibility of support for external audit on statutory accounts including providing documentation and management response on audit queries.
- Facilitate filing of Corporate tax return.
- Monitor and actively participate in management of Business activity and performance metrics managed by the Division.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field
- Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Accounting & Financial Analysis
- Ability to deal with multiple requests and external service providers like auditors, tax consultants, etc.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Expert in MS Excel
- Fluent in French and English. Other EU language is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team, while being autonomous.
- Rigorous and sense of responsibility.
