Specification Specialist

Execute daily routines such as:

- Manage recipes and specifications in SAP-Recipe Management
- Manage labels in Global Label Management
- Create and update product specifications and labels
- Evaluate impact of changes in raw materials and/or recipes on labels and specifications
- Answer questions on products and related specifications and labels and provide internal and external customers with the required additional product information
- Customers portals
- Follow-up of changes in legislation

Participate actively in strategic projects such as:

- sustainability (RSPO palm, RFA chocolate,...)
- clean label (reduction of additives)
- health and nutrition programs,

Assure training of team members and knowledge sharing

Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including Quality, NPD, Purchase, Operations, Marketing and Sales.

Reports to Specification Manager

We are looking for a food-loving colleague to join our Belgium Specification team in Haaltert.
As Specification Specialist you are the expert in food quality related areas such as recipe and label management, food law and packaging approval for our tasty bread or pastry products.
- Bachelor or Master, nutrition or dietician background, with some years of experience
- Structured and accurate
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to take responsibility and make decisions
- Interpersonal skills
- Be able to meet targets and handle a high pressure environment
- Good knowledge of Dutch / English
- MS Office (Word / Excel)
