Je komt terecht in het Financial Markets Modelling team, dat tot nu toe bestaat uit 6 kwantitatief analisten voor alle activa. Samen met je collega's is het je opdracht om ondersteuning te bieden aan de diverse business lines van de dealing room (sales, structuring, flow management) samen met de risk-management-teams van Belfius Bank via onderzoek en ontwikkeling (R&D) van de eigen pricing
- en risk-management-systemen.
Wij zijn hiervoor op zoek naar iemand in staat:
- Om te communiceren met de stakeholders van de front en de middle office voor het identificeren, begrijpen en structureren van hun behoeften.
- Om technische structuur te ontwerpen en tot stand te brengen om tegemoet te komen aan die behoeften via op maat gesneden End-user computing-toepassingen (Windows) of batch processing-toepassingen (Linux-server).
**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**
Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. We zoeken vooral een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.
Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met de volgende eigenschappen en skills:
- essentiële ‘hard skills’: IT en/of engineeringachtergrond;
- praktische C++ programmeerervaring en degelijke coderingsvaardigheden;
- uitstekende beheersing van standaardtools voor versiebeheer (bv. Git);
- ervaring met het opbouwen en uitrollen van toepassingen (en/of):
- end-user computing-toepassingen (Windows);
- server batch-processingtoepassingen (Linux).
- praktische ervaring met Data Base Management System (DBMS) (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL);
- kritisch ingestelde en stressbestendige probleemoplosser, met aandacht voor details;
- leert snel, is bereid te groeien en zich voortdurend te verbeteren;
- luisterbereid en een teamspeler.
Volgende skills vormen een belangrijke troef:
- vertrouwd met numerieke analysemethodes & -algoritmes (bv. Monte Carlo, optimalisatie & rootsearch, lineaire algebra);
- vertrouwd met derivatenovereenkomsten (bv. opties, swaps) en hun pricing-theorie;
- vertrouwd met scripting-talen (bv. Python).
