**_European Institutions: Azure Cloud Operations Specialist _**

Join our client’s team in Brussels as Azure Cloud Operations Specialist within the European Commission.

Unit SANTE.R.4 'Information Systems' is in charge of developing, maintaining and operating the DG's information systems at the three geographical sites in Brussels, Luxembourg and Grange. The unit works directly with the policy units on digital solutions to implement SANTE's policies and manages the local IT infrastructure and support.

**YOUR TASKS**
- Define configuration management and deployment strategies for Cloud resources.
- Ensure availability and stability of cloud production environments.
- Develop, and design software automation and scripts to orchestrate cloud and virtualization technologies with defined scope, schedule and expectations with a focus on Operations.
- Design and implement DevSecOps capabilities (e.g. observability, continuous monitoring, tractability).
- Work with the development teams in resolving software and other related problems associated with the cloud deployment infrastructure and the code deployed onto platforms such as Database and/or Middleware.
- Manage day-to-day deployment and maintenance activities.
- Analyze and tune information systems performances.
- Security administration and monitoring, in adherence to the security rules imposed by the Commission’s central security service (complemented by local rules where needed); under supervision of the LISO (Local Information Security Officer).

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

Following specific expertise is mandatory:

- At least 3 years of specific expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS configuration and deployment.
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in Administering high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity in Azure environments.
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in Deployments using Infrastructure as Code in Azure (Biceps) or Terraform.
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in Azure Cloud landing zone setups and administration of complex Hub and Spoke environments composed of several accounts.
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate them in the Azure cloud based on 7R criteria.
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in Design and administration of security using Azure services and features for highly sensitive environments using different levels of encryption.
- At least 1 years of specific expertise in Microsoft Windows server and AD setup.
- At least 1 years of specific expertise in Operating data analytics deployments in Azure.

Following skills and knowledge are required:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good redaction skills.
- Ability to give technical presentations.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting, capability and experience in working in team.
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
- Ability to work on multiple large projects.
- Excellent Team Player.
- Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1).

**EXTRA INFORMATION**
- It will be required to work remotely from home in Near-site location allowing to reach the Commission premises in Brussels within 2 hours.
