**Corporate Banking **(CB) is the business unit within BNP Paribas Fortis that manages the client relations with medium and large Belgian companies, and Belgian activities of foreign multinationals, and financial and public institutions via two coverage units, Commercial Banking Belgium and Corporate Coverage Belgium.

**Enterprises **consists of 4 Regio’s - 14 Business Centers and geared towards the medium-sized companies market, i.e. mainly family-owned businesses.

It aims at bolstering its commercial position in Belgium by developing a strong, efficient and client-oriented bank, focusing on its core markets and business in order to boost revenues and keeping costs down.

We are seeking a Director Business Center for BC Wanalux (Regio Wallonia).

**Your job**
**Customers**

You put the customer first and you develop, maintain and expand the dedicated client portfolio in the assigned BC and personally handle the relations with clients from your segment.

Continuously improve and keep a vigilant watch on customer-related processes, tasks and operating models, analyze complaints and issues as source to improve quality of execution. You act as a representative of BNPPF.

**People**

Manage, inspire and coach a team of RMs (and ARMs). Drive and motivate employees through continuous feedback, empowerment and competence development. This contributes to a positive NPE-score. Stimulate team cooperation and mobility and ensure succession planning, utilizing the instruments, service and procedures of corporate HR. You enable and promote the "One Bank" story. You are a change agent and implement the necessary changes for the future of your business and you continuously guide and support your teams in dealing with these changes. Ensure communication and commitment of stakeholders regarding the Enterprises plan and maintain and build strategic relationships with other departments (Mass and Affluent).

**Business**

Participate together with the Business Center Managers and the RMs in deal structuring, including negotiation on commercial terms & conditions, closing the deal with customers and ensuring follow-up.

Develop and maintain a relevant external network and acts as a representative of BNP Paribas Fortis’ Enterprises on external occasions.
- You tactically execute the Enterprises strategy for BNPPF in your Business Center. You cooperate in defining and monitoring quantitative and qualitative commercial objectives
- Hierarchically responsible for Relationship Managers. Report hierarchically to the Business Center Manager
- You are responsible for a portfolio of (SME and Midcap) clients, ensure monitoring, follow-up and that, in collaboration with the relationship managers, corrective actions are taken if necessary
- You are responsible for the commercial results of your team

- You have excellent International competencies (such as: knowledge on international developments, international market evolutions, ) + relations with BNP network
- You have excellent knowledge of Core banking métiers and high-end skills & deal structuring (CIB)
- You have commercial skills at all levels of the enterprise (shareholders, board members CEO, CFO, )
- You have problem-solving skills and sector expertise (Real estate, Traders, innovative companies,)
- You have broad expertise & knowledge on credits, risk and compliance domains & processes
- You have knowledge of decision processes on all levels of entities and businesses
- Good to excellent expertise in tailor made solutions and good to excellent (practical) knowledge of our digital solutions
- You embed and promote a sustainable/digital way of working
- You speak fluently French en English and you have good knowledge of Flemish
