About the job ‍

To strengthen our finance team based in Louvain-la-Neuve, we are currently seeking an experienced accountant.

The primary responsibilities of the Accountant

General accounting (statutory & management) for several entities (BE/UK/NL)
- Responsible for the monthly closing process of its own perimeter, ensuring that all financial records are accurately updated and reconciled.
- Annual Audits: Working closely with external auditors, will assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits of its own perimeter to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Contact with relevant administration to ensure the perimeter is managed properly
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Coordinate with local accounting and payroll agencies to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Are you our future colleague?
- At least 2 to 5 years experience in accounting and finance
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Dutch considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Belgian accounting standards and administrative tasks
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of Netsuite is an asset
- Highly motivated, with the ability to manage a variety of projects.
- Dynamic and possessing good communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration and relationship-building with team members and stakeholders.
