**JOUW JOB IN EEN OOGOPSLAG**

Het team Legal Watch & Transversal Expertise binnen het departement Legal van BNP Paribas Fortis bestaat uit 5 gedreven juristen die geboeid zijn door het privaat bankrecht en het tot stand komen van nieuwe regelgeving. Als Legal Counsel maak je deel uit van dit team. Je werkt nauw samen met de collega’s van andere teams van Legal en met Compliance, Risk, Tax, Finance en de diverse interne business partners.

**EN IN DETAIL**
- Je bent actief betrokken bij tal van transversale projecten, zowel binnen als buiten Legal, in samenwerking met verschillende businesslijnen van de bank (o.a. implementatie van nieuwe regelgeving, lancering van nieuwe producten en diensten, enz.) en geeft ook ondersteuning aan andere Legal teams (Legal Project Management).
- Je neemt deel aan projecten met als doel het omzetten van nieuwe regelgeving met een transversale impact binnen de bank. Ook bij strategische business projecten kan het team op jou rekenen.
- Je volgt proactief nieuwe regelgeving op en geeft duiding bij de impact van deze nieuwe regels op de activiteiten van de bank (Regulatory Watch). Dit doe je in samenwerking met andere Legal teams of departementen van de bank.
- Je overlegt intern over de nieuwe regelgeving en neemt ook deel aan externe lobbying initiatieven in overleg met business stakeholders en in de context van sectororganisaties.
- Met je team draag je actief bij aan de uitbouw van het online beheer van de juridische knowhow binnen Legal (Legal Knowledge Management).
- Je staat in voor het inhoudelijk beheer van het Legal intranet, in samenwerking met het Legal Business Operating Office.

**JOUW TALENTEN EN COMPETENTIES**
- Je bent flexibel, ondernemend en leergierig.
- Je bent een teamspeler die graag kennis deelt, engagement toont en verantwoordelijkheid neemt.
- Je bent communicatief, overtuigend en werkt oplossingsgericht, met een doorgedreven aandacht voor de juridische risico’s.
- Je hebt een Belgisch masterdiploma Rechten op zak.
- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in de bancaire sector, een advocatenkantoor of een beroepsfederatie, bij voorkeur in het privaat bankrecht.
- Je hebt 3 à 5 jaar juridische ervaring.
- Ervaring in projectmanagement is een pluspunt.
- Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
