We are looking for a mechanic for a vehicle workshop in Zaventem.
Your tasks:
- You prepare the vehicle and the engine for the workshop activities.
- You check and adjust wheel alignment on both axes within given tolerances.
- You download software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.
- You prepare and install different types of sensors in the vehicle, the engine and its components.
- You prepare and install data acquisition systems in vehicles until full operational state.
- You ensure proper installation and connection to the different devices and power sources needed to guarantee no data loss.
- You test drive the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behaviour after parts replacement is OK or not.
- You operate tyre exchange equipment and tyre balancer without causing any damage to the tyre and rim.
- You ensure troubleshooting process to come to the root cause of the problem.
- you ensure proper stock management and re-arrangement for vehicle parts, consumables, measuring equipment in line with processes.
