**The team you'll be part of**
Strategy and Technology lays the path for Nokia’s future technology innovation and identifies the most promising areas for Nokia to create new value. We set the company’s strategy and technology vision, offer an unparalleled research foundation for innovation, and provide critical support infrastructure for Nokia.
Part of Strategy & Technology, Group Security is Nokia’s central knowledge center responsible for Nokia’s cyber security policies and standards, the cyber security architecture and roadmap, and the monitoring, alerting of security incidents. We partner with the Nokia Business Groups and Central Functions on product security, customer security, and interact with governments on security regulations. Together we take care of Nokia’s security culture, processes, systems, products and services to position Nokia as a trusted partner for the 5G era and beyond.
For this position you’ll be part of Business Security team. Business Security drives Nokia-wide security initiatives for business environments. It includes among others the protection of critical company data and secure engagements with 3rd parties. Business Security partners with business stakeholders to understand and assess business security risks and to develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
As part of our team, you will:
- Offer security expertise based on your strong technology insight and knowledge about relevant information security threats
- Identify the security needs of the different business teams across Nokia
- Propose, assess, and implement the optimal solution for identified security needs
- Support the business teams in becoming compliant with the Nokia Security Policies
- Create a close relationship with your business counterparts
**Your skills and experience**
You have:
- Demonstrated ability to assess, design and implement security solutions
- Strong expertise in network security, networking concepts and architectural implementations
- Deep understanding of an IT operational environment
It would be nice if you also had:
- Demonstrated ability to take a project or significant feature from concept to launch
- Strong and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Ability to convey technical security concepts to a non-technical audience
- Relevant security certifications (such as CISSP)
You are:
- Passionate about technology and information security
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed
- A team player - even when working in a virtual team
