Wat doe je als Senior GL-Accountant?

As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the GL process of your assigned legal entities. You will help to fulfill the accounting tasks of different legal entities managed in the Ghent office.

You will provide financial support for the monthly close, reconciliation of general ledger accounts. You will help on different ad hoc requests from headquarters and will constantly seek to improve quality of the general ledger accounts, processes and reconciliations.

You will participate in the month-end closing process including (but not limited to) researching for missing entries, booking provision journals, accruals, ICY reconciliations, fixed assets and revenue recognition, including analyzing variances, tracking extraordinary spend, and ensuring proper period cut-off for all activities.

You will document and reconcile the balance sheet accounts on monthly basis. Prepare monthly journal entries such as Cash, Payroll, Benefits, Prepaid, accruals, etc. You will produce reports and KPI’s in order to analyze the current processes or improve the quality of the financial services.
