- Feasibility and Basic Design.
- Mechanical & Process System Studies.
- Detailed Mechanical & Process Design.
- Procurement of mechanical equipment including factory acceptance testing.
- Mechanical & Process Design Review.
- Site supervision, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Audit of thermal heating/power plants installations.
The role of Tractebel can be consulting engineer, owner’s engineer, due diligences or EPCM missions and involves different technologies

As Project Manager:
- You manage and drive the design and/or implementation of the project.
- You coordinate and manage the project team.
- You manage the project procurement activities (tender documents, tendering, negotiation, contracting and invoicing) for packages and insure that the Client’s requirements/targets are met.
- You manage and monitor the time schedule, the budget, the performances, the HSE (according to a ‘zero accident philosophy’), the quality and the profitability of the project.
- You monitor Client’s satisfaction.
- You define the tasks and delegate them amongst the people involved and you empower them to carry out the tasks.
- You take care of internal contacts with the competence centers and support departments (procurement, legal, finance, IT, risk management, communication,).
- After consulting the experts, you determine the outline for an optimal technical design.
- You coordinate the lead engineers of each discipline and you verify the adequate integration of the various specialties in the project.
- You take care of the technical and commercial contacts with the Clients and partners, if any, and you define commercial actions when appropriate.
- You actively participate to the invitations to tender, the analysis and technical-commercial negotiation of bids as well as the awarding of contracts for the supply of equipment or services
- You communicate effectively with the project team and project stakeholders, including the customer
**Profile**:
- You are civil engineer or industrial engineer with a strong background and experience in the development, design and realization of power plants projects.
- You have 3 to 7 years experiences in the project management (incl. contract management), preferably in the field of power and heat generation units.
- You are enthusiastic, proactive, empathic & driven with a passion for problem solving
- You are a team player and feel the need to be part of an integrated team
- You have a strong sense of responsibility
- You have competent oral and written English communication skills; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset
- You are client oriented
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are flexible in participating to different projects and in assuming different tasks in parallel
- You are open to missions abroad (short or medium-term)
