Are you able to provide detailed insights into the warehousing costs or a true financial business partner who gives advice on how we plan our transportation flows? For Nike’s European Logistic Campus (ELC) in Laakdal, we’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join us at an exciting period of growth. In our Financial Planning & Analysis team, we ensure accurate planning, budgeting & reporting of our logistics costs. You’ll be a key sparring partner for business partners across our fast-paced and innovative European Supply Chain.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Working at part of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, you’ll be responsible for the financial follow up of one of our ELC Distribution Centers or Transportation Flows (inbound/outbound). In this role, you’ll take care of the monthly closing activities, including analysis & reporting of key performance drivers. You’ll regularly communicate and present the findings of your analysis to provide insights and influence decision making to support the EMEA Supply Chain Strategy. As a team player, you’ll always be on the lookout for areas of improvement, sharing recommendations and suggestions within your team and business partners. You’ll be comfortable preparing monthly forecasts and discussing the outcomes with business management.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You'll work as part of our established Financial Planning and Analysis team, acting as the financial business partner for Operations/Transportation. You'll collaborate with key ELC based stakeholders within the areas of Transportation, Procurement, Operations and Distribution Planning, typically at Manager and Director level. In addition, you’ll share findings and insights with our Digital Finance team based at our European Head Quarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, NL. As a Financial Planning Analyst, you’ll act as the link between various teams and business partners both within the ELC and our EHQ, bringing awareness of business dynamics and their impact on the organization and strategy.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Master’s degree in economics, finance or business or equal through experience.
- Experience or a keen interest in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
- Experience in working with office (MS Excel & PowerPoint). Experience with TM1 Cognos & SAP (or similar systems) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large organization.
- Proven strong financial acumen.
- You are open to introduce new ways of working and have a flexible, positive, and solution focused approach, even in ambiguity.
- Strong written and oral presentation skills; ability to communicate and present to senior management.
- Fluency in English.
