Prototype Technician

_**Our Operations Team is looking for a Prototype Technician to build our prototype e-motors.**_

The prototype technician is a member of the operational team and works closely with Operations and Manufacturing Engineers.
Although experience in mechanical assembly is a plus, we are mainly looking for a skilled and motivated colleague with an eye for detail, the right attitude and a “can do” mentality.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Building prototypes, proof of concepts, and complete motors.
- Accurate mounting of all components (stator, rotor, shaft, bearings, etc).
- Assemble motors according to internal standards, clear procedures, and quality requirements.
- Complete the tasks on time and to high-quality standards.
- Conduct experiments and assist with the development of assembly process optimizations.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Degree in a technical field, preferably in (electro) mechanics.
- You are familiar with different mechanical technologies and you can operate a multitude of mechanical workshop tools.
- Quality and attention to detail are important to you.
- You are proactive, an effective communicator, versatile, and flexible enough to deal with change.
- You work proficiently with computers.
- You can work independently and in a team.
- Any previous experience in a mechanical assembly/production environment is a plus.
- You speak, read and understand English.
