Strategic partnerships with government and industry groups are crucial to the success of Dell Technologies. Government Relations is at the heart of this vital work - from liaising with leaders of government and industry, to preparing policy briefings for pending legislative actions. As thought leaders, the team helps to inform public policy and secure a place for Dell Technologies in important government forums and industry group meetings.

**What you’ll achieve**

**You will**:

- Policy Analysis and Advocacy: Monitor, analyze, and influence EU and global policy developments relevant to Dell’s business.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive government relations strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advance Dell’s policy objectives
- External Representation: Represent Dell in meetings, conferences, and other forums to advocate for the company’s policy positions. Develops and maintains effective lines of communication with the offices of government officials

**Essential Requirements**
- Minimum of 15 years of related experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years of experience.
- Expert knowledge of the EU regulatory environment and policy-making processes
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team

**Desirable Requirements**
- Advanced degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field
- Previous experience working with or within EU institutions or regulatory bodies.
- German language skills
