Facility Coordinator

The Facility Coordinator supports the Facility Manager in the operational aspects of Facility Management.
- ** Your Role **:As a Facility Coordinator, your role is crucial in supporting the Facility Manager in the operational aspects of Facility Management. Your primary objective is to ensure excellent facility services and support for employees and (Pharma) customers within our warehouse. You will play a key role in maintaining the functionality and safety of the facility in Geel.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Managing Hard Services Team: You will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians who are accountable for the proper functioning of hard services. This includes maintaining quality, safety, health, and environmental standards for building systems such as mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, HVAC, cooling, fire/life safety, plumbing, winter services, sustainability, infrastructure, and security.
- Facility Request Management: Utilizing the facility management-ticketing tool, you will ensure efficient and effective execution of facility requests, addressing them promptly and ensuring timely resolution.
- Site Tours and Improvement: Conduct regular site tours and spot checks to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the facility is operating optimally. Proactively collaborate with internal teams, contractors, engineering offices, and other stakeholders to address any identified issues promptly.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support for Facility Management as needed, including handling ad hoc requests and assisting with documentation.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of suppliers and ensure they meet the agreed-upon service delivery standards. Take appropriate actions to address any deviations and maintain a high level of service.
- Equipment Stock Management: Keep track of the stock of technical equipment, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs when needed.
- Workload Planning and Organization: Effectively plan and organize the workload of the team, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are adequately covered and completed in a timely manner.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations or urgent issues, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and the facility.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism within the facility by implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarking practices, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- A solid technical background is essential for this role. You should have a strong understanding of the technical aspects related to facility management and be able to effectively address any challenges that may arise. You are BA4/BA5 certified or are willing to attain this certificate.
- Exceptional communication skills are crucial in this position, as you will be interacting with stakeholders in both Dutch and English. Fluency in both languages is required, and proficiency in a third language would be advantageous.
