We’re looking for an individual to join **Immoweb**, part of the AVIV Group. Immoweb was founded in 1996, and to date is the undisputed leader in the Belgian Real Estate market attracting 3.7 million unique visitors per month across a country with a population just shy of 11 million people and is the first choice for Belgians who plan to sell or rent their property. On average Immoweb advertises 477,000+ properties per year
**What we do in Strategy & Transformation at AVIV**
We are responsible for defining the strategy and leading its execution to transform AVIV.
- Lead strategy and OKR setting in response to company capabilities, changing customer needs and the competitive market context
- Prioritise strategic initiatives to optimise investment between various country and customer opportunities
- Drive complex transformation through reporting, developing insights and coordinating delivery across multiple countries/functions
- Source, seed and accelerate transformation opportunities, working closely with markets to deliver and embed greenshoot innovation
**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Head of Finance Controlling, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the establishment and follow-up of budgets and forecasts. In addition, he/she will have an important role in the production of the financial reporting and will be involved in adhoc analysis for the management
The finance department of Immoweb consists of 8 people.
In collaboration with the Head of Controlling, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
**Financial & Business planning**:
- You will be responsible for the preparation of annual budgets, MTP (Mid Term Planning) and forecasts, at the level of Revenues, OPEX, CAPEX, Cash-flow and various KPIs.
**Reporting & Analysis**:
- You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting to management and the AVIV/ Axel Springer group.
- You will analyze, explain and justify monthly variances against forecasts & budgets.
- You are responsible to monitor costs and for providing various business information, KPIs, FTE analysis on a monthly or adhoc basis.
- You prepare PowerPoint presentations for business review meetings and other management meetings.
**Financial systems & processes**:
- You will ensure that processes within the company are followed and will contribute to the improvement of these processes.
- You will learn and support the team with the implementation of our new Financial system: Workday.
- You will manage the Product & IT time registration system for Immoweb - Beepole
- You will check inter-group invoicing.
- You will upload our local budgets and forecasts reporting into the SAP group financial portal.
**Business support**:
- You are the finance business partner of different operational departments.
- You will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the various IT projects (activation of costs, management of CAPEX, licenses, etc.).
- You participate in the establishment of business cases, financial validation, integration and monitoring of new projects.
- You exchange and share operational and planning information with the accounting department and the VP Finance Belgium.
**Qualifications**:
**Your Profile**
- You have a Master degree in Accountancy or in Business Administration
- You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience ideally as a business controller or accountant.
- You have a solid background in accounting and can demonstrate a proven track record in controlling.
- You have good knowledge/experience in using Financial systems / ERP systems
- You are fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of English.
- You are comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint.
- You are precise, organized, proactive and willing to take the initiative.
- Flexible and good communicator, you are a team player.
