**The Job**:
Manuchar is looking for an M&A Manager in order to support the company’s ambitious growth
through mergers and acquisitions.

Your core responsibilities include:

- Market screening
- Lead the research, identification, selection and prioritization of targets to
maintain a qualitative M&A pipeline (in line with the M&A and company
strategy);
- Foster relationships with Manuchar’s global network of affiliates, with market
participants and external advisors, as such serving as a key point of
contact for deal intake from both internal and external sources;
- Deal execution
- Execute specific transactions with the responsibility to manage all aspects of the deals with
a high degree of autonomy, but in close collaboration with the M&A and Corporate Development management and the company’s Executive Committee.
- Act as main point of contact with the target company, from early
interactions on to deal closing (involving the M&A integration team
throughout the process);
- Lead and co-ordinate the due diligence process of selected targets, acting as
key point of contact towards the seller’s advisors
- Prepare comprehensive investment cases for target companies (incl.
strategic rationale, valuation, synergy plan and high-level integration
plan), together with local and global business experts within the company;
- Build a solid post-acquisition plan, maximizing synergies, together with
our integration team;

Your reporting lines will be
- Direct reporting line to the Head of M&A and Corporate Development
- Close interaction with the Group CFO
- Responsible for project team management, on a project basis
- Collaboration with peers in the M&A integration team

**Your Profile**:

- An academic background, with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience,
preferably a first working experience in a strategy or financial role, complemented by
several years M&A practice varying from strategy, target screening, due diligence
and deal negotiation;
- A proven track record of successfully executed transactions of various sizes (small
and mid cap) in different geographies;
- Demonstrable strategic acumen, commercial & operational awareness along with
strong negotiation skills;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills;
- Strong communicator, taking responsibility and working in a transparent and open
way;
- Experienced at stakeholder management and managing multiple priorities and
projects;
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French, Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch is a plus but not a must
- Willing to travel up to 25% of your time, including to emerging markets
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Living in the region of Antwerp or are planning to relocate
