As a **Freelance Senior Architect**, you contribute to the success of the company with your creative and spatial thinking, providing station designs that score the highest in customer experience and that integrate our modular Fastned station in the service areas along the highways. In the coming year, you will be strongly focused on the permitting and contracting of new locations.

You will be mainly responsible for the station design of new sites, from permitting with regional and local authorities to execution detailing. You will be part of the construction visits and see your beautiful projects being built Additionally, you can also contribute to the design and development of new Fastned shops and other potential services next to the charging station.

Your role as Senior Architect is crucial to our multidisciplinary team. In your day to day job, you will spend most of your time with our local Belgian team, consisting of other architects, public affair managers, network developers and construction managers. Besides that, you will also be connected to our architects in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland and France. **Job requirements**
We are searching for an architect willing to take responsibility from initial designs to the execution phase of our locations in Belgium. This role is perfect if you are looking for a freelancing role in a sustainable company.
- 5+ years of experience;
- You are an AutoCAD and Revit expert;
- You are confident discussing projects with authorities and have experience with permitting processes in both Wallonia and Flemish regions in Belgium;
- Bonus points for retail experience;
- Additional value if you can make great visuals;
- You speak (near-)native Dutch or French, English on a business level.
- You are highly motivated by accelerating the energy transition & join a fun company that is making a difference.
