**Organization**:
**Global Energy Management and Supply (GEMS),** is responsible for the management of the ENGIE Group's assets in continental Europe. The role of GEM is to ensure competitive energy for customers while optimizing value creation, within a consistent risk framework. The GEMS teams negotiate ENGIE natural gas supply contracts, optimize the assets (power plants) and the energy purchase and sales contracts, and provide customers with natural gas and electricity, as well as energy price risk management services.
**YOUR contribution**:
**Context**:
GEMS is now integrating in its perimeter all B2B Supply activities of the ENGIE Group located in a variety of local platforms (UK, Spain, IT, BE, NL, Poland, Australia, US), which is requiring to reinforce the Transversal Market Risk Downstream team.
**Role**:
As Market Risk Analyst Downstream, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the Downstream Risk mandates of the CWE Supply platforms ;
- Securing and maintaining the IT Risk reporting process associated to this monitoring ;
- Testing migrations of Downstream portfolios into new deal-capture and risk management systems ;
- Integrating new local platforms in the Volume Risk stress test computations ;
- Contributing to the harmonization of the Rik metrics across the different Platforms and to the setup of a global Market Risk reporting framework.
**About YOU**:
**Hard skills**
- A good knowledge of the energy sector and related derivative products ;
- A good knowledge of classical Market Risk metrics ;
- A digital mindset with strong Excel and Python programming skills.
**Soft skills**
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills ;
- Ability to work autonomously.
**Education and professional background**
- You have a university degree in a quantitative field (engineering/finance/IT);
- You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the energy sector.
**Languages**
- You are fluent in English ;
- French is a plus.
