**Role**

**Backend (Java)**
- Develop and implement microservices
- Write clean, sleek, test-driven, modular, and reusable code
- Write highly optimized SQL queries
- Automate building, testing, and deployments
- Participate in code reviews

**Frontend (Angular or React)**
- Write clean, modular code with performance in mind
- Work with UI/UX designers to implement designs
- Troubleshoot and debug issues

**General**
- Work within Agile Methodology frameworks
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional organization
- Lead and communicate the technical framework and strategy

**Seniority Level**
- 10 years of proven and hands-on experience in software development

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Solid experience in Java SE
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Angular
- Experience with RESTful web services and Spring framework
- Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of software design patterns

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong experience in Java, Angular or React
- Experience in design and software architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Unit testing experience (Jasmine, Mocha, Chai, Sinon)
- Open and flexible to work on different programming stacks
- Passion for robust software and maintainable code
- Knowledge of PostGIS
