Logistic Service Officer Zaventem Eng

We are looking for a Logistic service officer for a company in Zaventem. The company is specialized in the distribution of chemical products for industrial usage.
As a logistics service officer you will interact with customers and logistic suppliers, sales managers, etc.
Your tasks:
- You are the main person of contact for the logistics supplier.
- You work with the Sales and Local Planning team to determine the acceptability of term and conditions.
- You handle orders in a timely manner to ensure that the customers needs are fully met.
- You collaborate with partners during conference calls.
- You make sure that all movements from different sites are made with the correct documentation and declarations, especially for hazardous goods.
- You ensure effective and efficient dispatch and freight forwarding together with the Freight Forwarding Company and tank Operators.
- You provide input and advice on processes in projects and meetings.
- You update and simplify operational procedures and processes.
- You ensure KPI data such as customer complaints, non-conformances, etc.
**Profiel**:
- You have a bachelor in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, Sales or you have equivalent job experiences.
- You have a first experience in a similar job.
- You have a very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- You are hands-on and result-driven.
- You are client-orientated.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have knowledge of SAP.
