**MAIN DUTIES**:
The Content Creation Officer is the ‘roving reporter’ of UITP. They gather content from UITP’s ground-breaking research, global events, innovation projects, and the broader public transport sector, and tell those stories through knowledge publications, website articles, video and audio.

As Content Creation Officer you play a central role in developing and driving UITP’s content communications. Developing new, creative approaches and editorial content formats is highly encouraged to build our reputation and bring our message to policy makers and public transport professionals, be it written content, video, podcasts or otherwise.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensures a constant stream of content in line with the UITP editorial planning aimed at growing UITP’s audiences, improving our reputation as thought leader, and attracting new prospects;
- Helps colleagues translate our research into content publications, from policy briefs aimed at decision makers to reports and statistics documents, building a storytelling approach to ensure our content is appealing and engaging;
- Guides colleagues through the production process of knowledge publications from concept to delivery and dissemination in close coordination with the Head of Content Communications;
- Supports content creation (article writing, social media management and newsletter creation) on EU and third party funded Projects on corporate and project channels. Supports, when needed, on the preparation of communications related project deliverables;
- Provides support to UITP and project events in terms of communication output in the form of social media, articles, among others.
- Executes the UITP SEO strategy in close coordination with the communications and marketing teams;
- Engages with the UITP community on digital channels through the corporate UITP social media accounts.
- Assists in evaluating the performance of content and channels and adjust future communications and content creation accordingly.
- Fulfils the role of backup for the Communications & Social Media Manager guaranteeing continuity on newsletters and social media in their absence.
- Solid knowledge of written, audio and visual content creation,
- Degree in communications, journalism or similar (through experience),
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience working in content marketing/strategy, with/for media outlets, or copywriting,
- You speak and write perfect English,
- Decisive, proactive and creative attitude,
- Ability to come up with new creative formats,
- You understand the need to make results measurable and transparent.
