**About the role**:
**Your Impact as **Global Quality** Manager**:

- You ensure that the quality system is defined, implemented & effective, and report on the performance to the H2 Leadership team.
- You are responsible for developing Global Control plans and deploying these in the different H2-plants.
- You prepare and guide external and internal ISO audits
- You manage and continuously improve the quality control/quality assurance system & procedures and monitors implementation across all H2-plants to ensure product quality, conformance to customer specifications and Bekaert standards.
- You develop, plan, implement, and review the Global H2 Quality plan as part of X+5/X+1
- You lead quality related continuous improvement projects to strive to have zero defects, zero customer complaints, reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), improve ecology and sustainability
- You coach, train and assist in the development of the H2 quality team.
- You promote the awareness of customer requirements in the organization.
- You ensure the development of the H2-product parameters and specifications
- You ensure standardization and implementation of best practices across the different Hydrogen-plants.
- You drive the lessons learnt and expertise sharing between the different H2-plants
- You provide support to all operations colleagues (production, process, maintenance, supply chain,) in case of operational issues to ensure sustainable quality of our products
- You assist in resolving process/product quality problems.
- You offer binding advice in case of out-of-spec products and examines/resolves product quality complaints.
- You maintain and develops complaint handling

**About You**:
**Essential skills & competencies**:

- You have a master’s degree and/or have minimum 10 years of relevant experience in quality.
- You are experienced in structuring new business processes.
- You love working in a multicultural, matrix management environment.
- You have strong communication skills and fluent in English.
- You have excellent logical and analytical skills.
- You are result-driven and hands-on with a clear focus on the customer.
- You are willing to take ownership.
- You have a critical mindset when it comes to quality.
- You developed strong leadership skills and are able to motivate and coach an international team.
- You are a true team player.
