**The Team**:
Corporate Philanthropy at Bloomberg"s mission is to harness the skills and resources of our employees and our business to benefit colleagues, communities and clients around the world. Philanthropy is core to the culture of Bloomberg and has both an internal and external focus. The Corporate Philanthropy team coordinates the company's partnerships with charitable organizations globally and collaborates with other departments across the company to drive business.

**The Role**:
We are looking for a Corporate Philanthropy programme specialist to support Bloomberg Corporate Philanthropy across the European Union. You will need a deep understanding of our business, our communities and the diverse region we work in, as well as significant experience working with European institutions, with an interest and experience in key EU social and environmental policies. An understanding of EU policies in the area of finance (e.g. sustainable finance, market transparency) would be a plus. A driven, self-starter, we will expect you to be a strategic thinker and an executor, with outstanding collaboration skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record in strategic partnerships throughout the European region.

Corporate Philanthropy is core to the culture of Bloomberg and has both an internal and external focus. The role involves close collaboration with other Bloomberg business areas as well as coordination of the company's strategy for engagement with charitable organisations across the EU. This Brussels based role would report into the Corporate Philanthropy manager for the EU and requires at least 4 to 5 years of work experience*. Fluency in English and proficient in French and/or another EU language is required.

In this role, we will trust you to support the Corporate Philanthropy Manager for the EU by:

- Providing a local point for coordination and delivery of Bloomberg Corporate Philanthropy activities across the EU in close partnership with other members of the Corporate Philanthropy and Bloomberg Philanthropies team
- Coordinating content delivery of Bloomberg led EU events involving corporate philanthropy such as policy webinars or receptions at cultural venues, working closely with other departments (e.g. sales, government relations, etc)
- Coordinating Bloomberg engagement in third party events such as EU Green Week; New European Bauhaus Conference, Paris Peace Forum, EU Energy week, One Planet Summit, etc.
- Assisting in the delivery of EU corporate philanthropy programmes such as the Bloomberg EU women in finance initiative in partnership with Junior Achievement
- Working closely with the communications and marketing teams to build-out a Bloomberg EU philanthropy brand; and enhance philanthropy promotion in Brussels with EU policymakers and stakeholders
- Identifying and coordinate new opportunities to increase client and government engagement (with a particular focus on External Relations priority locations)
- Collaborating with Bloomberg"s government relations EU team to achieve synergies on EU stakeholder engagement and regulatory priorities such as EU sustainable finance policy and other cross-cutting priorities
- Building, maintaining and growing a corporate philanthropy contact database
