Our client, a very stable company in the financial sector in the heart of Brussels, is looking for their future Senior Treasury Officer.
** Beschrijving**
In the finance department, we are looking for the rare pearl to accompany us on the processes of management of the Treasury of our customers. Thus, we are looking for a Senior Treasury Associate to reinforce the Finance department.
Your main responsibilities:
You will contribute to the smooth running of the Treasury department, follow up on open points with our clients and ensure a good control of operational risk.
Recurring activities:
- You will be responsible for the follow-up of the Treasury processes in collaboration with your two colleagues of the Treasury team - automatic or manual processes
- You will work in close collaboration with internal (Finance - External Accounting department, operational departments, IT, legal) or external (banks, financial management of our customers, etc.) stakeholders in order to optimize the cash management processes
- You formalize analyses and ideas to improve and facilitate the processes
- You support the other financial departments in the monthly closing process and reporting to clients, trustees and regulators on cash matters
Project activities:
- You will participate in the monthly Risk Committee organized to communicate on risk points related to cash management and to follow up on the implementation of corrective actions
- You are responsible for the implementation schedule during new client integration projects (organization of workshops with clients, definition or clarification of the optimal cash flow scheme, etc.)
- You support the financial management of our clients in their thinking in relation to the transversal projects initiated by their subsidiary or group
**Profile**
- You have experience in banking on cash management processes
- Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with good knowledge of the other language - English is a plus.
- You are enthusiastic, flexible, like to work in a team and have great communication skills
- You have a strong interest in operational risk management and control
- You have a good knowledge of Excel and Power Point - knowledge of SQL is a definite plus
- You have an interest in the world of IT, process automation (functional analysis, BI capability, artificial intelligence...)
- You have a clear sense of control, a taste for numbers and a strong desire to meet the quality requirements of our customers
- You are looking for a challenge within a department in transformation and you have a strong will to improve with us the existing processes and systems
