**Ready for the next step in your career? IPCOS is looking for a Financial Controller**
You fulfill a crucial role in further developing the financial administration and reporting of an experienced, international company with HQ in Leuven, specialized for over 25 years in making production processes at our customers more efficient and sustainable by means of digital technology. IPCOS has six offices in Europe, the US and India, with some 80 employees.
As an added dimension to this financial position, since 2023 IPCOS has be come part of ATS Corporation, a listed Canadian group, a global specialist in the development and construction of automation systems.
***Main responsibilities of the position**:
Ø You take care of the complete financial administration: accounts payable and accounts receivable administration and bookkeeping with a focus on our offices in Belgium and the Netherlands
Ø You are responsible for the periodic financial report s and the annual accounts and the preparation & development of periodic management report s & analyses for the management to gain adequate insights
Ø You prepare and follow up budgets and forecasts at company level
Ø You proactively create optimal administrative and business processes and make suggestions for improvement
Ø You act as sparring partner for management; you like to present business information to management and analyse market trends to which the organization may be able to respond.
Ø In the area of financial audit, you work as a partner of management to strengthen the internal control systems and better manage business risks by independently performing audits and formulating and following up on improvement proposals.
Ø You act as a knowledge expert in the field and enjoy continuing to enrich yourself
Ø Preferably a master's degree in an economic field with several years of experience as a Financial Auditor/Business Controller - experience of 5 to 8 years
Ø Ability to analyse complex processes and identify risks in a structured manner while maintaining your helicopter view
Ø Knowledge of Exact & Adsolut accounting software and experience with project accounting is a plus
Ø A creative mind, making improvement proposals is your second nature
Ø An independent and at the same time team-oriented work attitude
Ø A very fluent knowledge of English
Ø Numbers, data analysis and problem-solving thinking are right up your alley
Ø A hands-on and pragmatic attitude
