Productieverantwoordelijke - Teamleader Shipping

The Teamleader Shipping is responsible for a team up to 10 team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. In this role you are responsible for knowing proper procedures for all team members to follow and ensuring that they comply. You might be called upon to share special industry techniques on how to use tools and equipment, or tips on how to improve quality or speed of production. Additionally you encourage team effort and supportive attitudes within the team.
- **Job responsibilities**:_
- Accurately and efficiently complete necessary steps to ensure orders are produced according to specifications with visual checks
- Assist in training of team members, ensuring all are fully and accurately trained, maintaining all required documentation
- Ensuring all processes are being accurately adhered to by team members
- Prioritize orders as set by production needs or directed by Kitting Supervisor
- Update production database, as necessary and required
- Report Production progress to Kitting Supervisor throughout the production day
- Maintain Production schedule for the day, communicate changes to team as needed
- Move and organize workers to meet production flow needs
- Track Orders that cannot be completed, report to supervisor and request back orders as needed.
- Monitor inventory items, restock/transfer inventory as needed, report needed inventory resupply requests to supervisor/inventory personnel
- Communicate with supervisor, as required by business needs

- **Requirements**:_
- Proven leadership experience ideally within a production environment
- Clear, concise and confident communicator; happy to take the lead
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and create a team spirit
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks
- Being comfortable in an active warehouse, position will be in a temperature-controlled space

**Laguage**:

- Stong communication skills in English
- Dutch/French is an asset
