**Function**:
Do you want to be the hub of our customs team and execute various of customs activities? Do you have a passion for logistics and are an expert in customs matters? Then you might be the person we are looking for

As a **Customs Declarant**, you will play an essential role within our customs department.
- Your tasks_:

- Daily tasks, such as **preparing import and export documents**, following up shipments, answering customer questions and invoicing customers.
- Perform** customs activities** in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and assist with customs checks.
- Handle **complex customs issues**. These issues are discussed within the team to find a solution together.
- Provide necessary **reporting and documentation** for customs inspections and audits.
- Assist in **streamlining procedures** and achieving **KPIs.**

- What we expect from you:_
- A **proven track record as a customs officer** with in-depth knowledge of national and international customs laws and procedures, including tariffs, classifications, regulations and requirements for imports and exports.
- The skills to think and act **customer-focused,** understand and anticipate customer needs, and deliver high-quality customs services and solutions that meet customer expectations.
- The ability to **work accurately and accurately** in preparing customs documents, processing data and filing declarations and processing customs formalities.
- The** flexibility to quickly and effectively identify, analyse and resolve problems** that may arise in customs declarations, customs inspections or other customs activities.
- **Excellent communication skills** in Dutch and English, enabling you to communicate effectively withinet customers, customs authorities, colleagues and other stakeholders.
