CONTRAT ETUDIANT
- Avant l'ouverture : tout d'abord, la préparation de la salle, il s'agira de dresser les tables donc, disposer les nappes, la vaisselle, les couverts, les verres, les serviettes, les éléments décoratifs et par la même occasion, vérifier que tout est impeccable.
- Durant les heures d'ouverture : il se charge d'accueillir, d'installer le client et de proposer les menus. Il prend les commandes qu'il transmet en cuisine ou au bar.
- Il est souvent amené à conseiller et à guider les clients dans leurs choix. Si l'établissement qui l'emploie ne dispose pas d'un sommelier, il devra aussi se charger du conseil et du service des vins. Il effectue le service des plats et boissons et débarrasse les tables. Il peut être amené à effectuer la préparation de certains plats devant le client (comme par exemple préparer un « américain minute » ou un tartare de boeuf, etc.) ou réaliser la finition (par exemple un flambage, la découpe d'un rôti ou d'un gigot, etc.). En fin de repas, il apporte l'addition et procède à l'encaissement.
- Quand la table est libérée, il la dresse à nouveau afin d'accueillir de nouveaux clients.
- Après la fermeture : il s'agira de remettre la salle en état pour un nouveau service et de clôturer la caisse.

**Votre profil**:

- Quelque soit le type de restaurant, il est nécessaire de connaître le menu et de pouvoir développer un minimum d'arguments concernant sa composition, les associations possibles et éventuellement proposer un vin qui se mariera au mieux avec les plats (si l'établissement ne dispose pas d'un sommelier).
- Du point de vue des habitudes de consommation, la clientèle se répartit en différentes catégories. Il peut être intéressant d?être initié à cet aspect du commerce.
- Etre à même de comprendre et de répondre à un client dans une ou deux langues étrangères peut être un sérieux atout.
- Enfin, les normes de sécurité et d'hygiène en vigueur doivent être connues et appliquées.
