Job description
We are looking for innovative data scientists to join our Data Centre of Excellence in Brussels. The person will leverage large amount of data using machine learning and state-of-the art quantitative models to deliver analysis and tools that have a concrete impact on our client's business.
Your main responsibilities
Develop, improve and support our models and tools.
Leverage complex data to provide market insight.
Contribute to the digitalization and data-driven decision making.
Be in direct contact with key stakeholders and optimize desks to understand their business needs and propose solutions.
Be in direct contact with Market Analysts, to exchange about models, new ideas, in order to leverage on the knowledge from peers.
Be in direct contact with the IS team to be aligned on coding best practices and IS architectures.
The Ideal Profile
You hold at least a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Sciences.
You have strong mathematical skills, you are an expert in statistics, machine learning and optimization.
You have strong coding skills in Python and you are able to develop autonomously prototypes & models.
You are able to explain and convey messages about complex issues.
You are fluent in English and French or Dutch.
You are an independent and perseverant. You are ambitious and willing to take on new challenges. You have a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
