Als Quality Assurance Officer sta je in voor het bewaken van de goede werking van de software productie
- en beheersprocessen. Bij VDAB I&T bouwen en beheren we de software die gebruikt wordt door alle Vlaamse werkzoekenden, werkgevers, VDAB consulenten en partners.
Als QA Officer bepaal je de strategie betreffende kwaliteit en zorgt voor de opvolging, beheer, uitwerking en implementatie van de software kwaliteitsprocessen (QA, QC en Testen) alsook de optimalisatie ervan.
**Wat ga je doen?**
- Je bepaalt de strategische, tactische en operationele aanpak van kwaliteit en werkt de implementatie ervan uit. Je implementeert en volgt de projecten en/of initiatieven op.
- Je kan een langere termijn (+1 jaar) doelstelling neerzetten en hiervoor een plan uitwerken om dit doel te realiseren. Je Agile mindset ondersteunt je hierin.
- Je komt met verbeteringsvoorstellen op vlak van QA, waarbij je het geheel niet uit het oog verliest en rekening houdt met de verschillende teams en divisies binnen I&T. Je blijft daarom ook graag up-to-date van de nieuwste QA trends en ontwikkelingen, om deze eventueel toe te passen.
- Het testteam wordt dagelijks aangestuurd vanuit de Team Lead Developers, als coach sta jij wel in voor hun verder te helpen in hun carrièrepad en ontwikkeling.
- Je ondersteunt de organisatie en teams bij de decentrale integratie van kwaliteitsstandaarden en proceswijzigingen.
**Wie ben jij?**
- Je hebt ervaring in quality assurance in een gelijkaardige functie. Sowieso ben je een IT allrounder met kennis van of ervaring in analyse, ontwikkeling en testen.
- Je hebt een goede ervaring in het analyseren en opzetten van proces verbeteringen. Change management is jou niet vreemd. Je project management skills zorgen ervoor dat deze projecten worden aangevraagd, opgezet en uitgevoerd.
- Je hebt ervaring met technieken/methodologieën om kwaliteit te verbeteren.
- Het is een nice-to-have als je ervaring hebt in doorgedreven software testing, IT architectuur en operations, beoordelingsmethodes (bv. CMMI, SCAMPI, ) en Agile at Scale methodologieën zoals Scrum at Scale, SAFe of LESS.
- Je hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands.
- Verder ben je iemand die analytisch is ingesteld en oplossingsgericht denkt en werkt. Je hebt graag verantwoordelijkheid en neemt deze ook. Een gezonde balans tussen teamplay en autonomie is vanzelfsprekend.
- Jouw coaching skills helpen anderen te ontwikkelen en je leert zelf ook graag bij. Verder ben je een netwerker: je vindt het leuk om op verschillende niveaus met verschillende stakeholders samen te werken.
**Wat krijg je?**
Je wordt tewerkgesteld via Vlaanderen connect., de ICT strategische dienstverlener van de Vlaamse overheid en VDAB. Je krijgt een contract van onbepaalde duur om bij VDAB aan de slag te gaan.
