Om ons huidig team van technische professionals te versterken zijn wij op zoek naar een Technical Operational Buyer.

**Voornaamste taken**:

- Manage the buying process including sourcing planning, quotation process, negotiate contracts with specified target pricing, cost and delivery targets.
- Improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings, utilising negotiation & procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Ensure Professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
- Understanding & analyzing of technical drawings when needed.
- Expediting purchase orders to support fulfilment of production schedules and spare parts orders
- Align expectations with Mechanical Engineering, Project management and support Engineering / Production Team on new ideas & new developments
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures

**Profiel**:

- You hold a bachelor´s degree. Preferably in Engineering (Electromechanics etc.)
- A minimum of 3 years of professional and relevant experience. -> ideally a junior/medior consultant
- A team player with a passion for techno-commercial affiliation
- Customer focus with an accurate & analytical approach.
- High value of quality and on time delivery commitment.
- Fluent in English (Dutch & French are an advantage). -> At least a basic understanding of Dutch is desired
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Compliance, Respect & Integrity are key
- Knowledge of ERP (AS400) or SAP is an added advantage.
