Warehouse Worker

To efficiently supply our Colruyt, Bio-Planet, and OKay stores, Colruyt Group has distribution centers in the greater Brussels area (Halle, Lot, Ghislenghien, and Ollignies). We are looking for an experienced warehouse worker to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Specifically, you will:

- Pick orders using a voice-picking or finger scan system and prepare them for shipping. This will remain your main task.
- Receive and inspect goods and products.
- Correctly store goods in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Want to grow and add more variety to your job? In addition to picking orders, you can take on extra responsibilities. Over time, you can progress to roles such as forklift driver, stock controller, trainer, etc.
You will be working in one of our warehouses in Halle, Lot, Ghislenghien, or Ollignies.

**Profile**:

- Experience: You have built a stable career in a logistics role for a considerable time, making you familiar with warehouse processes and logistics systems.
- Good physical condition: You lift many goods daily and are willing to pick orders in chilled environments. You enjoy physical labor, and your good condition and endurance are proof of that.
- Flexibility: You work in a two-shift system, with shifts from 6 AM to 2 PM or from 2 PM to 10 PM. You also switch between different departments. You are eager to contribute and like to help out where needed.
- Independence: You are part of a team but often work individually. Working independently without losing sight of your colleagues is crucial.
- Precision: You work result-oriented and pay attention to details. You have a strong focus on safety, order, and cleanliness.
- Language skills: You don't speak Dutch or French, but you have a good basic knowledge of English.
