**General Summary of the Job**:
Do you thrive researching and then crafting great stories that can then be presented to all audiences? We are hiring a storyteller for the DISW Global Facilities Team - an incredible opportunity to join an exciting team in the rapidly growing Software Industry

In this role, you will partner with the Global Community Manger to identify, research and craft engaging stories targeting thousands of software developers and other global Siemens employees. These stories will be delivered in different settings, whether it be via intranet, digital signage, video, blog post, or live events.

Essential Functions:

- Research - similar to what a journalist would do, doing online research, recording the raw information and distilling the key insights.
- Conduct on site-visits to speak with employees and gather face-to-face feedback, both 1:1 and in smaller team groups.
- Write - Scripts for event keynotes, interviews (interviewer or interviewee), blog posts, and articles as shadow writer, linked in articles and social media.
- Collaborate - Work with video and content stakeholders to develop authentic, and engaging articles, presentations and stories to be shared on internal Siemen’s platforms.
- Storytelling - Create compelling stories that connect with hands on builder audiences.
- Promotion - Capture key, audience targeted messaging for promotional content creation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to engagement, health and wellness, and DE&I and how we can help communicate these stories throughout the company.

**Qualifications**:

- +5 years of experience in copy writing
- +5 years of journalistic storytelling experience
- Passion for telling stories in unique ways
- Research capabilities
- Experience writing short format and long format content.
- Have written content for interviews and live presentations.
- Exceptional communicator with excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; high level of emotional competency.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build trust and empathy with employees, teams, and leaders to promote an inclusive, performance-driven culture.
- Positive, professional approach and the ability to perform tasks with mínimal direction and guidance.
- Ability to multi-task; show initiative and work aggressively to meet deadlines.
- Good judgment, strong common sense, and excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes in priorities, work demands, roles and responsibilities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically.
