**YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Currently we are recruiting a IIot platform architect to accelerate our Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing initiatives across all business units.
This includes the following responsibilities:

- Assume leadership over the IIoT platform and solutions and define the architectural guardrails for this area. Own & establish a future proof & component-based Platform Architecture
- Understand the business model, the needs of the business and translate this into IIoT solutions; challenge the business owners to come to the right solution and focus on business outcome
- Be the Unilin IIoT expert of our Cumulocity IIoT platform and work closely with Software AG and our implementation partner.
- At the start of initiatives: define the IIoT architecture for the solutions and coach the IIoT engineers and IIoT developers when they start implementing the solution; be available as domain matter expert to give advice to the project and agile teams when needed
- Stay up to date with the new IIoT trends, technology and challenges; promote the Cumulocity IIoT platform and understand it’s product roadmap.
- Work closely with the other architects (data & analytics, MES, industrial automations,.) and the manufacturing domain architect to ensure consistency of the architecture company-wide
- Work with newly acquired companies to integrate their architecture in the Unilin IIoT architecture
- Coach IIoT engineers and IIoT developers
- In this role you are reporting to the IS director Manufacturing & Supply chain planning

PROFILE
- You have a university degree in business, engineering, economics, informatics or equal by experience
- Min. 3 years of experience in technical design, development and implementation of technology solutions in the business domains of manufacturing operations and connected areas.
- You are passionate about how new IT technology creates value in our manufacturing plants.
- Ability to influence business stakeholders, product owners towards standards and harmonization goals
- Good exposure to process automation, data acquisition/management, advanced analytics and reporting/dashboards as well as system integration challenges/techniques in general
- Strong exposure to Manufacturing Operations Management solutions including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Production Planning & Scheduling and Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Experience within an industrial environment, including interactions with operational teams (operators, process engineers, production engineers) and ways of working at the shop floor level
- Experience in operational technology (OT) (Scada, DCS, PLC, historians, )
- Experience in.NET development projects and Microsoft Azure for data & Analytics
- Understanding of IT and OT cyber security standards
