Elia Grid International has offices in Belgium, Germany, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA), Malaysia, and Thailand.
**Your function**
EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on **Regulation and Markets** to support international clients navigate the complex environment they operate in. To achieve this, we are looking for an **junior professional** to be one of our **strategic advisors on regulation, contract management, and market design**.
Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):
- Support in delivering international regulatory and markets’ related projects, especially in project management;
- Support role in the preparation of the technical part of proposals;
- Literature and market research about technical regulations, contractual schemes, RES integration schemes, power systems, and power markets, in varied worldwide environments;
- Data research, data collection, and interpretation of data related to the power sector.
**Your profile**
- Master degree in Engineering, energy economics, laws or related fields;
- motivated quick-learning team player with high analytical and transversal abilities;
- Practical experience in a company or utility active in the power sector or the energy transition is considered an asset;
- Huge appetite to develop your expertise on markets and regulatory framework of the power sector;
- Understanding of the power sector, including power exchange, transmission, distribution, retail and generation;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of Arabic, German, and/or French is a strong asset.

**Location**
Brussels - Mobility required: 30% worldwide (willingness to travel abroad for international assignments depending on the business development or project needs).
