Are you driven and do you not shy away from a challenge? We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer with a fresh, open view and strong human and strategic qualities to strengthen our ranks.Your challenge:

- You are responsible for the financial obligations of the organization (accounting, VAT, invoicing, cash management, controlling, reporting, stakeholder management, organizational control, financial processes, etc.).
- As a member of the management committee you report to the CEO of our Client. You are responsible for financial reporting to the board of directors. You are the financial face, internally and for our partners.
- You are strategically and operationally responsible for the financial team and the collaboration with the city's finance department, which is laid down in a service agreement.
- As a member of the management committee, you collaborate collegially on the joint objectives and strategy so that our Client evolves into a well-oiled machine in providing IT services, taking into account the supporting processes.

After the stabilization of the financial operations in our Client, the strategic and operational range of tasks will be expanded with related operational processes. You can count on the expertise of the city's financial team and sounding board experts, but you also help design the necessary organization. Together with a crisis manager, you lead the financial team to:

- Short term: you ensure that everything runs correctly, invoices are sent out on time, suppliers are paid on time and all regulations are met.
- Medium-term: you ensure process and system optimizations to handle the processes more efficiently and reduce the pressure on the organization. The Client will also join a group-wide financial story within 1.5 years, with more alignment between the various members of the group, supported by a uniform implementation of SAP4Hana. The translation to the group-wide SAP4Hana setup is done under your leadership.
- Longer-term: you question several structural financial processes and procedures to evolve towards the most optimal operation of the company.

Within the limits of the local government decree, you ensure an open and transparent financial policy together with the financial team. This includes, among others, the following components: 
- You periodically coordinate with the (internal) partners, map the income and expenditure flows, and provide transparent, substantiated, and clear follow-up and status reports on the financial situation and the efforts made per partner. 
- You prepare and follow up on the periodic settlement per partner.
- You are responsible for the preparation and follow-up of multi-year plans, annual budgets, income forecasts, payment forecasts, and liquidity forecasts. 
- You maintain correct analytical and general accounting following the policy and management cycle.
- You maintain external contacts with, among others, tax authorities, partners, auditors, company auditors and legal advisors.
- You successfully guide the change processes so that you can develop a competitive organization.

What you Have:

- You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You have relevant experience in a management position.
- You have a thorough knowledge of financial policy.
- Do not shy away from a challenge; roll up your sleeves to tackle issues.
- You have strong knowledge of SAP S4HANA
- You can develop a strategic vision and are analytically and numerically strong. 
- You ensure that internal and external communication runs smoothly and that your team works well with everyone in the organization.  
- You are an empathetic manager who focuses on the strengths of your team members.
