In4Matic Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium CISO Domain Lead BC/DR We’re looking for a senior DR/BC Domain Lead to join our client as an external consultant and take ownership of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity governance in a complex, mission-critical environment. In this role, you will shape resilience strategy at enterprise level, balancing technical feasibility with business priorities, and ensuring recovery plans are realistic, tested, and continuously improved. You’ll work at the crossroads of IT, risk, and business leadership to strengthen overall operational resilience. Role & Responsibilities - Define and govern DR and BC strategies, standards, and templates - Ensure RTO/RPO targets are realistic and embedded in architecture and operations - Advise on multi-site recovery designs, failover patterns, and interdependencies - Perform cost-benefit analyses for DR options (e.g., active-active vs. cold standby, replication strategies, site distance) - Review test outcomes and drive remediation planning - Build dashboards, KPIs/KRIs, and resilience heatmaps - Coach stakeholders and promote a resilience culture - Produce clear documentation, best practices, and guidance - Assess maturity using recognized models and define improvement roadmaps - Recommend automation, tooling, and governance enhancements Environment & Stakeholders - Close interaction with business service owners, IT service owners, architects, infrastructure teams, risk, audit, and crisis response teams - Oversight of multi-site and hybrid cloud recovery environments - Integration with risk management, incident management, and audit processes - Exposure to resilience obligations and regulatory requirements The Ideal Candidate - 10+ years’ experience in IT resilience, DR architecture, or continuity management - Master’s degree or equivalent experience - Certifications: CISSP and at least one risk-related certification - Expertise in DR/BC frameworks (e.g., ISO 27031, NIST 800-34, ISO 22301) - Strong knowledge of multi-site, hybrid-cloud architectures, replication, and failover patterns - Experience with maturity assessments and improvement programs - Proven stakeholder influence without direct authority - Business experience outside IT is a strong plus - Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (C1+) Seniority level - Executive Employment type - Full-time Job function - Information Technology Industries - IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
