Head of Marketing
As our Head of Marketing, you thrive in developing and steering the international marketing strategy, while bringing your team to the next level. You have a strong data-driven mindset, focusing on the analytics and performance of your campaigns, while your team takes care of the creative side. Reporting to our CEO, you will lead, mentor, and manage an ambitious marketing & SDR team (internal and external). Your background in B2B SaaS is crucial in ensuring your teams are motivated and equipped to achieve our business targets.
In this pivotal role, you will drive our marketing strategy, focusing on effective lead generation, impactful brand building, optimizing budget efficiencies, and maximizing ROI while ensuring a seamless integration between marketing, SDR, and sales. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our market presence and accelerating our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Developing, executing, and overseeing the international marketing plan.
2. Managing, mentoring, and coaching the marketing team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and driving a data-driven marketing culture.
3. Ensure we remain connected and highly visible in the market.
4. Operate CRM workflows and leverage insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Together with Sales & Customer Success, execute account/segment/vertical-specific campaigns and sales strategies.
6. Keep close tabs on industry trends, events, and the competitive landscape (e.g., through personal research) to identify potential prospects and market opportunities.
7. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Collaborate closely with the HelloMaaS Flex Team to define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and the latest B2B SaaS benchmarks.
8. Be in the know of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
9. Demand Generation: Provide input to the marketing team on lessons learned with previous demand generation programs.
10. Provide input to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition. Collaborate on all matters performance marketing to prepare leading a mix of inbound and outbound strategies.
11. Provide KPI and focus input for the SW company-wide marketing KPI framework. Regularly review results and provide recommendations to optimize tactics.
12. Lead the optimization of performance of demand generation campaigns across various channels. Provide requirements, KPIs, and direction for the growth hacker and paid media specialist to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
13. Content Marketing and Thought Leadership: Provide input to the team on a robust content marketing strategy that positions the company as a thought leader in the B2B SaaS space, leveraging industry insights, customer success stories, and research.
14. Make sure ICPs, buyer personas, and value propositions are up-to-date and remain relevant.
15. Provide research-based (qualitative and quantitative) input to define value.
16. Ensure content is strategically aligned with buyer personas and journey stages to drive engagement and conversions.
17. Lead and oversee the execution of content management, managing a small team of in-house content marketers.
18. Digital Marketing and SEO: Provide input and review SEO strategy. Review SEO roll-out and provide recommendations to improve. Oversee the company's digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and growth hacking, to enhance online visibility and lead generation. Continuously analyze and optimize the website and landing pages for improved search rankings, user experience, and conversion rates.
19. Marketing Analytics and ROI Measurement: Provide input and review the KPI framework and marketing analytics dashboard to track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives against KPIs and ROI.
20. Leverage data to make informed decisions, demonstrating how marketing investments contribute to the company's growth and financial goals.
21. Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales/customer success team to ensure alignment on target accounts, key messages, lead sourcing, and strategic initiatives.
22. Develop and provide sales enablement tools and resources, such as case studies, product sheets, and competitive intelligence, to support the sales process and drive success.
23. Customer Marketing: Implement targeted marketing programs to engage and retain existing customers, encouraging upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy.
24. Gather customer insights and feedback loops, ideally set up NPS tracking to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
25. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team & SDR team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
26. Encourage professional development and stay connected with the broader marketing community to adopt best practices and innovative approaches.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in international Marketing (B2B SaaS).
- 3+ years in a managerial role, leading teams to success.
- Fluency in English is a must, it is a big plus if you are also fluent in either Dutch or Spanish.
- You have CRM knowledge (Hubspot & Salesforce are our favorites) and a passion for tech.
- You have a strong analytical approach to your work, and you are always looking for opportunities to learn.
- You love multicultural and fast-paced environments.
