As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you bring over 5 years of technical expertise to deliver cloud engineering services.





Your role includes



Translating system and technical requirements into effective designs.

Evaluating and optimizing designs to balance benefits and trade-offs.

Ensuring design compliance and supporting deployment processes to meet defined requirements.

Utilizing development tools to address technical and business challenges, such as technology evolution, capacity management, and performance improvements.

Contributing innovative ideas to enhance systems, processes, or services.

Writing and maintaining technical documentation to capture technology solutions.

Resolving complex incidents and conducting root cause analysis to maintain system reliability.

Occasionally being on call for systems under your responsibility.






We are looking for a cloud engineer who

Communicates clearly in both Dutch and English.

Is willing to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one weekend/night every six weeks).






Desired skills:





You should be able to work independently, with a passion for IT infrastructure and a "can-do" attitude aligned with the team's objectives. A flexible mindset and a desire to constantly learn and adapt are essential. You should be comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone to acquire new skills and technologies.



Solid experience with Kubernetes is essential.

Experience with OpenShift is highly desirable.






Additional experience with the following is a plus:



Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL.

Python.

Victoria Metrics.

Kibana.

Grafana.

Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
