In your job as a bodywork specialist in the Heverlee region, your working days will be filled with the following tasks: You are responsible for repairing the bodywork of cars You repair vehicle damage or replace damaged parts, often based on a damage report provided by the insurance company Your tasks include disassembling, assembling, sheet metal work, dent removal, pre-processing, painting, and finishing of vehicles You apply the necessary sealants Using various measuring instruments, such as calipers, meters, and micrometers, you perform measurements and check the precision of your work Preparing surfaces for the painting process, including cleaning, filling, and sanding, is also part of your tasks You will apply primers and base coats, as well as spray the final layer of paint You will also glue bodywork parts Within the job of body repair technician in the Heverlee region, you can expect the following salary package: A competitive starting salary that ranges between € 17.00 and € 22.00.
