The Deputy CEO will play a key role in shaping business strategies, driving operational excellence, and expanding global market influence, working closely with the CEO, Board, and Business Unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

1. Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the Board and shareholders' objectives.
2. Contribute to global strategy development, particularly in the Biomedical Business Unit.
3. Provide strategic insights and advice to the Board and Chairperson to ensure informed decision-making.
4. Implement cost-effective operational plans to drive market development and business growth.
5. Ensure that company policies, legal guidelines, and compliance requirements are upheld at all levels.
6. Represent the company as a public spokesperson and industry leader, strengthening its market position.
7. Analyze challenges and implement solutions to ensure business resilience and long-term growth.

Financial & Business Performance

1. Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and business ventures.
2. Align profitability and long-term development plans while balancing operational costs.
3. Monitor operational and financial data, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
4. Lead M&A initiatives and strategic investment planning to support business expansion.

Leadership & Organizational Development

1. Lead and manage a team of senior executives and department directors, providing guidance and motivation.
2. Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, finance, and HR teams.
3. Cultivate a strong company culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth.
4. Strengthen organizational policies and decision-making processes to support a rapidly growing business.
5. Drive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, ensuring sustainability aligns with business goals.

Cross-Cultural & International Leadership

1. Navigate multi-cultural and multi-regional dynamics, balancing Asian and European business approaches.
2. Communicate and maintain high-trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and regulatory authorities.
3. Oversee cross-border operations, ensuring consistency in corporate standards while adapting to regional market needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

1. Senior leadership experience at the Managing Director, Deputy CEO, COO, or C-suite level.
2. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic and business plans in a multinational environment.
3. Strong financial oversight skills, including corporate finance, P&L management, and investment strategy.
4. Experience in healthcare, life sciences, biomedical technology, or laboratory equipment industries.
5. Knowledge of market trends, regulatory frameworks, and operational dynamics in Asia and Europe.
6. Strong leadership and cross-cultural communication skills, with experience managing global teams.
7. Ability to engage with Board members, investors, and senior executives to drive business objectives.
8. Open to frequent international travel, adapting to diverse business environments.
