About Zaventem Office
Our office in Zaventem is designed to connect people with our newly installed bar, gym, and breakout room. The office is next to the airport/train station, connected with a free shuttle, and features a bicycle highway to Brussels/Leuven. Lunch can be enjoyed in the private restaurant or at the cafeteria area with a Nespresso.
Job Description:
The HR People Partner will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution and follow-up of HR administration, such as contractual changes, vendor management, benefits administration, work permits, and expat administration. This includes coordinating Workers Council and Health & Safety committee meetings, liaising with local external legal partners, and mastering regular HR communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth execution and follow-up of HR administration, such as contractual changes, vendor management, benefits administration, work permits, and expat administration.Coordinate Workers Council and Health & Safety committee meetings, including taking minutes, preparing agendas, communicating with unions, and following up on agreed actions.Liaise with local external legal partners, such as government authorities and industry associations.Master regular HR communications through monthly HR newsletters, local networks, and townhalls.Organize and drive local DE&I initiatives and events.Support Country HR head with legal issues, compliance, grievances, or other employee topics.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a first HR experience, ideally with knowledge of HR systems (such as Workday). You should also have experience and knowledge of the Belgian legal HR framework. A hands-on approach and flexible mindset to adapt into fast-moving business circumstances are essential. Experience within an international matrix organization is a plus. Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch are required, as well as excellent knowledge and skills of MS-Office.
