Role Overview
The Managing Director role is critical to driving the growth and impact of Fire Safe Europe. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization's strategic plan, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication throughout the European region.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the FSEU annual program, including supporting actions and projects
- Represent FSEU in various settings, including Board of Directors meetings, Core Team meetings, and Members Assembly
- Provide strong advocacy to key stakeholders, including policy and decision-makers, and strengthen the fire safety agenda
- Ensure effective communication to key European stakeholders, including members, partners, and external parties
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proven track record of success in advocacy and community engagement
