- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and manage payment batches.
- Oversee deferred revenue and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform spot checks and implement standardized accounting policies across entities.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with BEGAAP.
- Support audits by resolving queries and implementing recommendations.
- Analyse customer aging balances and assist with reminder and collection processes.
- Archive financial documentation in compliance with legal standards.
- Process Optimization and Projects:
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows.
- Develop and standardize accounting policies and procedures.
- Drive automation initiatives, such as expense processing and streamlining manual workflows.
- Integrate new acquisitions into systems and processes.
- Cash and Expense Management:
- Lead the weekly payment process and oversee short-term liquidity forecasting.
- Manage and analyse working capital, including cash flow forecasting and payment strategy implementation.
- Implement and oversee an expense policy to standardize reporting and reimbursement workflows.
