About the Job
We are looking for a talented professional with excellent public affairs knowledge and communications skills to join our team in Brussels. As a Public Affairs Specialist, you will work with some of the most well-known food companies in the world, supporting the development of new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will maintain and develop further their knowledge of and insight into EU food policy and sustainability initiatives, providing strategic and tactical advice to clients on relevant policy challenges and opportunities. Key responsibilities include leading client accounts, managing junior colleagues, reviewing public affairs materials, identifying new business development activity, managing projects, and coordinating stakeholder engagement activities.
- Maintain and develop further your knowledge of and insight into EU food policy and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide strategic and tactical advice to clients on relevant food and sustainability policy challenges and opportunities.
- Lead client accounts, manage junior colleagues, review public affairs materials, and identify new business development activity.
- Manage projects, including oversight and coordination of budget and resources management.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities with support from colleagues.
