Java Applications Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Applications Architect to join our team at SANDER. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and architecture, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for Java and software architecture to make significant contributions to our groundbreaking project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and install software solutions using Java 11+ and Spring framework.
- Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing requirements and proposed solutions.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs and conferring with users.
- Investigate problem areas and implement solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation and clear code.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining system specifications and standards.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development and architecture.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, GIT, and JMS (Artemismq).
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch (or Solr, Lucene) and JPA / Hibernate / QueryDSL.
- Fluent understanding, speaking, and writing of the English language.
- Experience working in Agile development teams using Scrum process.
