Job Description
This role requires a seasoned expert in energy economics and finance to provide high-quality analysis of financial aspects of energy markets, strategies, and questions related to investment and commercialisation. The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of experience in economic electricity market analysis and creating leads, with a strong track record of delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in drafting proposals for clients for future projects.
- Train team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
- Bring structure and knowledge to our new Belgian hub to accelerate the energy transition.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Energy Economics, Finance or similar.
- A solid understanding of electricity markets, their functioning, design, and dynamics as well as relevant market developments in Europe.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory framework on European electricity market integration and financial regulation.
- Around 10 years of experience in economic electricity market analysis and creating leads.
- Extensive network within European energy landscape.
- Ability to make professional relationships and affinity with diplomacy/stakeholder management.
- Very strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
