We are seeking a proficient and ambitious Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data processes from large clients, you will be responsible for developing data pipelines, utilizing your ETL skills, and making client data accessible and usable for analysts and scientists.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), automated processes for large-scale data models, model development, validation, and implementation. You will also possess strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Excel, as well as good data modeling skills and database management expertise.
In this role, you will:
- Integrate new professional contexts rapidly to apply your data skills to any new sector.
- Identify improvements in existing data models to increase usable data in the Data Warehouse.
- Maintain close contact with team members and stakeholders to ensure compliance with context regulations.
- Develop innovative ways to upgrade data pipelines and ETL processes using Python.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and Cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Good data modeling skills.
- Knowledge of database management.
- Good communication skills and ability to adapt to different interlocutors.
- Attention to detail and organized.
- Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
